As we move through this month of October we are once again launching our Annual Collection. Soon you will receive a letter with the annual statement summarizing the parish  finances for the past year. Your generosity is obvious as we look at those figures and we see that we are in pretty good shape. 

   In recent weeks we have encountered some major maintenance issues. We discovered a leak in the roof in the parish center. As you know it is a tiled roof so the repair was expensive….$10,000! And just last week one of the two furnaces in the parish center gave us indication that it was not going to make it through another winter! We do not have an estimate yet on replacing that, but I am sure it will be another hefty sum.

   So as you can see, we are very much in need of your support this year as these expenses will drain whatever savings we have at this point. Big old buildings are constantly in need of maintenance as you all know. 

   On another financial  note I want to thank you for your support of the Catholic Appeal once again this year. As you know last year we exceeded our goal and this year we are almost there again.

   I have also herd from Fr. Joey Evangelista. He wanted me to express his gratitude for your generous response of $3800 to his Mission appeal.

   I want to thank you once again for your overall support of the parish throughout this past year and I am confident that will continue for the year to come!
