Other Rules for Our Cemetery
Walking of pets on grounds is NOT permitted.
- All flowers planted in containers must be within 12" of monument. This includes votice candles, veteran plags and shrubs.
- Plant hangers will be removed as they are not allowed.
- Crushed stone, wood chips, fences or iron hangers are not allowed.
- NO planting or decoration in the back of the monument is allowed unless that lot is also yours.
- NO private contact work with prior permission.
- All summer flowers and planters will be removed by October 15th.
- All winter decorations will be removed by March 1st, unless weather prohibits.
- Flat markers are to be level with the ground and not improvised to be a slanted or upright marker.
- Only one upright stone allowed per lot(s).
Reminders to Cemetery Lot Owners:
- Gardens can be no more than 1 foot from base.
- NO fences.
- NO borders unless level with ground.
- NO planting of ARBORVITAE shrubs or ALBERTA SPRUCE.
- Shrubs can be no higher than stone.
- NO trees are to be planted (except by cemetery).
- NO overloading lots with fake flowers.
- Decorations will be removed for overloading a grave.
- Shrubs removed CANNOT be replaced or replanted.
- Decorations deemed offensive, in any way, will be removed.
- Organic mulch only. Rubber mulch or stones will be removed.
As a Catholic cemetery we believe that this is a sacred and holy ground, therefore all grave sites should and will reflect the nature of this holy place.
All decoration and articles that do not reflect the sacredness of our Catholic tradition will be removed at the discretion of the cemetery staff.
