We welcome all women in the parish, regardless of age and stage in life!
WWP Update 11/01/22
Walking with Purpose is an organization that helps Catholic women develop their relationship with Jesus Christ through study of scripture and the Catholic Church’s teachings. Walking with Purpose women’s groups have started in hundreds of parishes all over the country. A group started at St. Michael’s parish in 2020 and is quickly growing. We encourage all women at the parish program to participate.
Programs starting in Fall 2022:
Opening Your Heart, our Thursday morning foundational study, is perfect for a woman new to WWP
(with or without Bible study experience). We invite you to be amazed at how
Scripture applies to your everyday life.
Fearless and Free, our Tuesday evening study, is based on the book of Ephesians, has an emphasis on healing and wholeness. This study provides a firm foundation to stand on no matter what life throws your way and is designed for women who have participated in WWP in
the past.
If you have questions for these programs, please email [email protected]
Registration is open for the Opening Your Heart morning study.
Fearless & Free is now closed.
The Bible in a Year podcast is a wonderful way to read through the bible. This podcast is run by Ascension Press and is narrated by Father Mike Schmitz. These daily audio episodes tend to run about 23 minutes every day, and consist of two or three scripture readings, a short prayer, and a commentary and reflection. It is an extraordinary way to deepen your relationship with God, to discover the story of salvation, and to learn how we fit into that story today.
These podcasts are free and can be accessed from Youtube.com on your home computer or through various smartphone apps, including Spotify, Apple Music, Hallow, or Pandora. Ascension is now also offering a Catechism in a Year podcast on similar platforms. They can be started at any point in the calendar year, and each person can progress at his/her own pace.
