WWP Update 6/20/23
Walking with Purpose is an organization that helps Catholic women develop their relationship with Jesus Christ through study of scripture and the Catholic Church’s teachings. Walking with Purpose women’s groups have started in hundreds of parishes all over the country. A group started at St. Michael’s parish in 2020 and is quickly growing. We encourage all women at the parish and surrounding parishes to participate.
Programs starting in Fall 2023:
Beholding His Glory, our Thursday morning foundational study, is the first part of a two part series which is rooted in the Old Testament. This study shows us how all of Scripture points to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. We'll learn to recognize and appreciate God's plan for our own lives, His awe-inspiring majesty, and His desire for personal intimacy with each one of us. First meeting Sept 21, 2023 9:30 a.m.
Touching the Divine - 2nd Edition, our Tuesday evening study, focuses on the many qualities of Jesus revealed through the Gospel of John. This study draws us into a deeper, loving relationship with Jesus as we reflect on His life and personality. First meeting Sept 12, 2023 6:00 p.m.

We welcome all women in the parish, regardless of age and stage in life!
The Bible in a Year podcast is a wonderful way to read through the bible. This podcast is run by Ascension Press and is narrated by Father Mike Schmitz. These daily audio episodes tend to run about 23 minutes every day, and consist of two or three scripture readings, a short prayer, and a commentary and reflection. It is an extraordinary way to deepen your relationship with God, to discover the story of salvation, and to learn how we fit into that story today.
These podcasts are free and can be accessed from Youtube.com on your home computer or through various smartphone apps, including Spotify, Apple Music, Hallow, or Pandora. Ascension is now also offering a Catechism in a Year podcast on similar platforms. They can be started at any point in the calendar year, and each person can progress at his/her own pace.
